The pandemic and “shelter at home” orders have upended nearly everyone’s lives, resulting in widespread anxiety, fear, and depression. Trans and non-binary people – especially those of us who also have experienced trauma – may be particularly stressed. To help you learn simple self-help techniques for this difficult time, FORGE is creating a series of short how-to videos.

Has sheltering at home decreased the amount of time you move your body?  Moving doesn’t need to mean going to the gym or even exercising (although if you can establish an exercise routine at home, go for it).  Moving can be as simple as doing the dishes, stretching, or taking a walk, roll, or bike ride outside. Moving is good for your physical, mental, and emotional health.
